1 Nov 1943

ANNEX Progress of Photographic Intelligence 1. On the 20th and 21st December, after a period of bad weather which greatly restricted air photography, a large number of reconnaissance sorties were flown. Cover of the coastal strip from LE HAVRE to LE TREPORT is now 75% complete; cover of the strip running inland West of the mouth of the SOMME parallel to the river is about 70% complete; and the area in the PAS DE CALAIS scheduled to be covered is about 75% complete. Owing to the appearance of 2 confirmed ski sites outside the area of the radius of 140 miles from London, it will be necessary to extend the area to be covered a further 10 miles inland, i.e.
