"Crossbow". 4th Report by J.I.C.

1 Nov 1943

A N N E X Progress of Photographic Intelligence 1. Bad weather has again seriously delayed the progress of photographic reconnaissance. High level vertical photographs have been taken of a few strips of territory in the LE HAVRE area and in the CHERBOURG Peninsula. Low level obliques have also been taken of three sites North of the River SOMME, including LOTTINGHEM LES GRANDS BOIS. The photographs of LOTTINGHEM have confirmed that great constructional activity is in progress. Little new information has been forthcoming from photographic reconnaissance.
