8. Japanese propaganda up to beginning November constantly belittled Allied Commanders and possible scale of attack which could be developed against Japanese from S.E.A.C. From 1st November onward striking change occurred and pointed attention drawn by both Japanese and Germans to alleged heavy reinforcement of Eastern Fleet and S.E.A.C. intentions of attacking Western perimeter. 9. Special intelligence shows intention to move aircraft carriers. Squadron to Singapore for use on some operation as opposed to ferrying trips.
