(ii) the entry of Turkey into the war at some stage between now and the end of the year. (b) Foreign Office to assess the probable Turkish reactions to the proposals in paragraph 1 above. (c) Executive Planning Section to redraft, in the light of the above appreciations by the Joint Intelligence Sub Committee and the Foreign Office, their report on the implications of meeting the commitments involved in this policy, making clear:(i) what resources will be required to establish ourselves on the aerodromes mentioned, and where these could come from; (ii) what further price we are likely to have to pay to the Turks to obtain the facilities we so urgently want in S.W.Anatolia, and where the resources to meet this bill can be found; iii) what further commitments might be involved if and when the Turks come into the war.
