(c) L.R.P.Gs have been operating actively from Arakan coast towards Central Burma communications. 3. Will you kindly estimate for us Japanese strength and dispositions in the Rangoon area at the time of an airborne assault on Rangoon, about January 1945, and the scale and rate of reinforcement to that area on the following assumptions:(a) Large scale operations from Yunnan, Ledo and Kalewa open about December 1944.
