3 8" cruisers 4 light cruisers 12 destroyers 12 submarines These forces would operate from Singapore and would be used probably at night, to attack our forces operating in the Northern Malacca Straits.Air Forces 5. The dispositions of the 250 aircraft likely to be in the Burma-Siam-French Indo-China-Malaya-Sumatra zone, might be roughly as follows :(i) Burma defensive force 100 (ii) Malayan defensive force 150 Only the Malayan defensive force would be immediately available, but 50 aircraft could be contributed by the Burma defensive force within 48 hours.
