Operations against Norway. Report by J.I.C.

1 Aug 1943

operations against the Allies. Sweden would resist by force of arms any such attempt by Germany. If the Germans made no such move and if the Allies were meeting with success, Sweden would be overjoyed, because she would no longer be cut off from the Western Powers and because she would hope that Finland would seize the opportunity to get out of the war, which would thus before long be further removed from Sweden. The Swedish public would also warmly welcome the liberation of Norway from Nazi tyranny.
