She must realise that successful Allied attack Sumatra would seriously threaten Malaya and cannot therefore leave reinforcement Malaya entirely to moves to be carried out after Allied offensive has begun. 3. Agree that two divisions is a likely reinforcement for Burma. Consider that these two will be used for strengthening RangoonBassein area and Akyab or central Burma area.
