3 January. It is hoped that reconnaissance will shortly provide more precise information regarding the new plants. On the assumption, therefore, that the estimate of progress on these plants is correct, the longer attacks are delayed the more destruction must be done in order to achieve the required result when attacks are ultimately carried out.
