THE COMMITTEE:Instructed the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee (i) to prepare in the light of the latest reports a forecast of the manner in which the enemy might attempt to evacuate his forces from North Africa; (ii) to suggest what indications we should expect to see of his intentions and preparations to evacuate; (iii) to report to what extent these indications had so far been observed.
