Americans do not consider either (ii) or (iii) probabilities unless something unforseen occurs in Russia, or Germany decides on a gamble but wish to place these possibilities on record. 7. We hope you can accept the following salient conclusions (others are of no consequence) in body of report. Course F (occupation of Iberia) "were Germany in a position to make available necessary forces to ensure success of this course in all eventualities which may arise in Iberia it would provide best means of countering allied invasion of North Africa.
