Anyhow, French terrain does not admit of guerilla warfare such as Mihailovitch is conducting in Yugoslavia. The French, even if willing and able to take this step, have insufficient arms and would have to be supplied with these and with food. Moreover, there is no Mihailovitch to lead them. I arranged for the C.I.G.S. to see a certain French General who has just flown out from France. He commanded the Armoured Corps in which General de Gaulle served at the beginning of this war. I understand that he and the C.I.G.S.
