Intelligence for the Netherlands Mission. Note by Secretary

1 Jan 1943

It is regretted that through the German and Japanese occupation of our territories, the former Netherlands intelligence sections no longer exit as a result of which our own Intelligence can no longer furnish sufficient information to keep us posted. We try to obtain as much intelligence information as possible and such data are always immediately communicated to you. It will be of great value to us if, also in the future, we could rely on the co-operation of the U.S. Intelligence Branches, as we can only fully discharge the tasks assigned to us if we dispose of up-to-date and sufficient information as to the progress of operations.
