namely (a) complete control of her own railway, which at present runs out into Syrian territory at Aleppo; (b) some military facilities in, and some guarantees for the Turkish population of the Dodecanese Islands; (c) a rectification of her frontier with Bulgaria. Any concessions that it might be possible to give in regards to these matters would weigh with Turkey. (iv) Financial and Economic Assistance. It might be possible to give Turkey an insurance that the financial and economic assistance hitherto extended to them will be continued and possibly hereafter increased during the war and that financial and commercial benefits after the war would be forthcoming.
