S.O.E. Activities in Spain. Note by Secretary

1 Nov 1942

A N N E X Telegram No. 1769 dated 26th November, 1942. from Madrid to Foreign Office As the will to resist German invasion has definitely increased, I believe we can now assume that there would be active and organised resistance, certainly in Navarre, and possibly other northern districts. This being so I suggest that Chiefs of Staff should review the military possibilities of Allied help and in particular as a precautionary measure work out preliminary and secret plans for dropping arms, liaison personnel, and wireless operators etc.
