B. By Air 7. A maximum of 500 men a day with equipment are being transported by air to Aouina (near Tunis) and Bizerta. To Libya. A. By Sea 8. Tripoli is now being used as the main port for supplies to Rommel. Shipping destined for Libya is, for the most part, routed via the Sicilian Channel from Cape Bon to Tripoli. A few ships, however, attempt the more hazardous passage from Italy to Tripoli passing to the East of Malta. 9. Arrivals at Tripoli during the week 23rd 30th November were limited to two ships (2,000 tons) and three submarines.
