(b) Some 20 Italian bomber reconnaissance aircraft are due to move from Italy to Sardinia. This is intended to bring up to strength the weak Italian reconnaissance air forces in Sardinia to cover the Western Mediterranean area; (c) 20 Ju. 88s recently flew to Tripoli on convoy escort. They have, however, since returned to Sicily on a similar mission; (d) The German Air Force in the Mediterranean area is being reinforced by some 30 Ju. 88s from Russia, but this move has been planned for some time.
