ANALYSIS OF ENEMY FUEL SAMPLES Memorandum by the Technical Sub-Committee on Axis Oil It is considered that the most important samples being analysed at the present time are German aviation gasoline. The results of these analyses to date prove that in the main the Germans are concentrating on two types of aviation gasoline. These are:(a) so-called "green" or super fuel with an octane rating of 94 C.F.R. Motor Method. This is a highly aromatic fuel on the average showing an aromatic content of 35 40%.
