42/736 A N N E X At their meeting + today, Directors of Plans discussed, with the Strategical Planning Section, a draft report on the strategy which should be followed in the event of the collapse of Russian resistance. Directors of Plans felt that, although they had already received the reports of the J.I.C. on the chances of the continuance of Russia resistance, it would be useful if the latest opinioncould be confirmed to the Strategical Planning Section, in spite of the very rapid German advance which had occurred during the last few days.
