C. AIR 8. KIRKENES PETSAMO AREA (a) Operations against attack in this area would be limited to aircraft based in N. Finland and Norway, north of Bodoe. It is estimated that the following forces would be available:L.R. Bombers 100 Bomber Recce 20 Dive Bombers 20 ) S.E. Fighters 50 ) In Petsamo Kirkenes T.E. Fighters 10 ) area. Army Co-op. 10 Coastal 25 Total 235 aircraft (b) Reinforcements Aerodrome accommodation at Berdufors and north thereof would permit reinforcements of up to 90 L.R. Bombers in addition to those already estimated to be in the area; further reinforcements of S.E.
