300 planes in all which were overhauled in Germany after service on the eastern front. No additional planes can be accommodated in Sicily because it is filled to capacity. Approximately 300 tranport planes were sent from Greece to the eastern front. Their return is awaited for the start of the large scale offensive in the Mediterranean. On distribution of German troops. "The following is the present distribution of the German army: 20 divisions consisting mostly of older men and wounded younger men are in occupation of France, Holland, Belgium and Denmark; six divisions are in Bulgaria; four divisions of very bad fighting quality are in Norway; there are 200 divisions in Russia and the General Government; 40 divisions have been withdrawn temporarily from the eastern front for re-forming, rest and re-equipment for the offensive against Russia this spring; six divisions are with Rommel in Africa; and four divisions, representing Rommel reinforcements, are in southern Italy.
