Operation BONUS Cover. Memorandum by the Inter-Services Security Board. 1. Troops involved. 1 Infantry Brigade Group, 1 Infantry Brigade and ancillary troops, in all about 11,000 men. In addition to personnel ships and storeships, it anticipated that six infantry assault ships will be used. 2. Security. It is proposed that two of the assault ships shall proceed from FREETOWN to CAPETOWN, in advance of the Force, for docking. They will join up with the convoy from England at CAPETOWN, or DURBAN.
