ANNEX. Assumptions. 1. Sweden launches an attack against TRONDHEIM subsequent to 1st December, 1941 but before and of March 1942. 2. Germany has no warning of Swedish intentions. 3. Russian front is stabilised. Questions. 1. What would be the dispositions of German forces in Norway? 2. What scale of effort could Germans bring immediately against (a) TRONDHEIM ? (b) SWEDEN ? 3. What would be the rates of reinforcement? 4. What would be the maximum forces which the Germans could maintain?.
