ENCLOSURE TO ANNEX. S E C R E T. AGREEMENT ON THE ALLOCATION AND USE OF CODE NAMES DRAWN UP BETWEEN THE BRITISH INTER-SERVICE SECURITY BOARD AND THE UNITED STATES SPECIAL OBSERVER GROUP 1. The military services of each of the two Powers will recognize the system of code words used in military, naval and air operations and planning by the other. 2. The British Inter-Service Security Board will prepare a Code-Name Index to contain suitable English dictionary words, place and proper names, of more than four letters for use as code names.
