Long Range Bombers 30 Bomber Reconnaissance 10 Dive Bombers 10 T.E. Fighters 10 S.E. Fighters 20 Coastal 10 90 Tromso-Narvik Area. There is only one main aerodrome in this area at Bardufoss, which could however be reinforced at short notice either from Kirkenes area or from Trondheim. There is also a smaller aerodrome at Bodoe. It is estimated that the following aircraft are likely to be based in this area:Long Range Bombers 10 Bomber Reconnaissance 5 S.E. Fighters 15 Coastal 10 40 The value of the reconnaissance units in both areas from which the approaches by sea can be well covered would be limited at this time of year by the short hours of daylight.
