ANNEX. Reference. Ops:58/41. Investigation into the possible sources of leakage regarding the sailing of Convoy W.S.9c direct to Malta. 1. History of the Convoy. Early in June it was decided that it was necessary to send reinforcements and stores for at least several months to Malta. A discussion took place as to which was the best route, bearing in mind the urgency, and it was finally decided that reinforcements and stores should be sent direct from the U.K. via Gibraltar and the Western Mediterranean.
