transfer of personnel from one country to another, it is frequently sufficient if the approximate date only is given, the more precise particulars being added in another letter which need not have the same wide circulation in Government Departments here as may be necessary for letters regarding personnel. I should be very grateful for your co-operation on the above lines in regard to any correspondence which your office may have with Government Departments here on such matters and generally for any assistance you may be able to give by way of standing orders to your staff to reduce to a minimum the circulation of detailed information regarding the sailing of ships.
