Ministry of Economic Warfare. Formation of a Services Co-Operation Department. Note by Secy.

Co-operation with Air Ministry on Bomb Target Selection and Bomb Damage Appreciation. The section which has been engaged on this work has been strengthened and transferred to the new department. It will remain for the present under the general supervision of Mr. Lawrence, but a new section head will shortly be appointed. 2. It is the duty of the Department to make available to the Services the economic intelligence in this Ministry to provide appreciations of the economic position and prospects of the enemy as may be required, and to co-operate with the services in any other way which may appear useful.
