CONTROL OF TELEPHONE, TELEGRAPH, POSTAL AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS IN THE EVENT OF INVASION. ANNEX B. The following measures will be taken to control telephone, telegraph, postal and other communications in the event of the invasion of either the United Kingdom or Eire. 1. ACTION TO BE TAKEN IN N. IRELAND. (a) Telephones. (i) All telephone calls to and from Eire to be routed through Belfast or Londonderry. Cross-border lines from Armagh, Enniskillen, Newry and Strabane to be disconnected and calls routed to the Londonderry switchboard.
