BARDIA. COAST DEFENCES. 2 Batteries each of 3 or 4 6 inch or 8 inch guns, plus 1 18 pounder and 1 gun of unknown calibre. NOTE: After June 1940 there was considerable doubt as to their existence as H.M.S. ORION saw nothing of them during bombardment. A.A. BATTERIES. 16 guns and some A.A. machine guns. KISMAYU. COAST DEFENCES. Three Batteries with guns of 6 inch, 4.8 inch and 3.9 inch. A.A. BATTERIES. Four A.A. Batteries of 3 inch guns. MASSAWA. COAST DEFENCES. 16 Coast Defence Batteries with guns up to 8 inch calibre.
