Free French Forces - Security. Note by Secy.

1 Apr 1941

I.S.S.B./S.6/M. S E C R E T. FREE FRENCH FORCES SECURITY. MEMORANDUM by the Inter-Services Security Board. 1. Our attention has again been drawn to the proverbial absence of security in the Free French Forces. If, for instance, it was proposed to employ Free French troops in an expedition, e.g. against the French coast, the entire project would probably become known to a wide circle almost as soon as it had been transmitted to the French, and however few French officers were let into the secret the danger would still remain.
