(iii) In addition, normal infantry divisions can be used as air-landing troops with little or no air training. (iv) An airborne expedition would probably consist partly of parachute and partly of airlanding troops. Their armament would include 81 mm. mortars, 75 mm. infantry and mountain guns, and 37 mm. A. Tk. guns. (v) Ample numbers of each type of troops are available for any given operation. It is believed that the limiting factor is the amount of air transport available. (vi) It is estimated that 1,100 transport aircraft, including 1,000 Ju.
