ANNEX. 1. In accordance with the Prime Minister's instructions the F.O.P.S. are preparing, for the approval of the Chiefs of Staff, an appreciation of our Future Strategy. 2. The following are particular sections of the appreciation for which information is required from the Joint Intelligence Committee. 3. Opposing Strengths. (a) Enemy present strengths and disposition; and strengths as they are likely to be in May 1942 and May 1943. (b) Japanese present strengths and dispositions; and strengths as they are likely to be in May 1942 and May 1943.
