Priority for C.S.D.I.C.(U.K.) Camps 10 and 20. Memo. By J.I.C.

1 Jan 1941

"6. We consider that the Centre is performing a work of vital national importance and that that work is in jeopardy. We strongly recommend that the Chiefs of Staff should record the opinion that the Centre is of the utmost operational importance, vital to the needs of the three fighting services and should accordingly be given the highest degree of priority in all its requirements, that the normal formalities regarding surveys, plans and tenders should be waived and that any work required should be put in hand at once and completed by the earliest possible date irrespective of cost".
