(c) Long papers, in which a number of conclusions are contained in the main body of the appreciation, in addition to any final conclusions. In this case it might be suitable for a 'Summary of conclusions' to be placed first in the main paper, (a reference being given in each case to the paragraphs in the full appreciation from which the conclusions are drawn), while the full appreciation, including the conclusions, follows as an annex. It will be appreciated that in this case some repetition will be involved in that the conclusions will appear twice but, as the 'Summary of conclusions' and the full appreciation are intended for different readers, (namely, the Chiefs of Staff, and the Staffs of the Service Departments), this point is possibly not of great importance.
