(v) The time it would take for General Weygand to meet an attack if it came from any quarter other than Spain. The nature and strength of French fixed defences. (vi) The supply and shipping problem with which Germany would be faced. The extent to which she could rely on local supplies. The methods she would be likely to adopt to maintain her forces and the difficulties with which those methods would confront her.
