ANNEX. The Research and Experiments Department of the Ministry of Home Security is collecting, on behalf of the Air Ministry, information concerning the fall of bombs on selected areas in this country, the sizes of bombs used on different targets and other information in connection with enemy attack. As you are no doubt aware this information is required in order to discover the technique adopted by the enemy and the value of the countermeasures which are being taken. You will appreciate that it is es ential that the information should be as accurate as possible as to the position where the individual bombs fall and that the sizes of the bombs should be accurately noted.
