(g) It was agreed that the S.T.Os at ports should be asked to delegate the authority to keep the crews of transports on board once the ships are alongside. It was also agreed that whenever possible foremen dockers should be appointed Special Constables and be responsible for educating their own men in security matters. (h) It was recommended that the Inter-Services Security Board should consider the use of code words for ports particularly new ports in theatres of operations. (i) The possibility of embarding stores before embarking troops was discussed.
