"The concentrated bombing of the Midland industrial Air No security objection. towns such as Coventry and Birmingham has Ministry. stimulated production". Note. Earlier in the War, a senior German pilot was reported to have said that the German High Command were then satisfied that, in view of the British character, bombing might merely stir British labour from its lethargy.
