Operation 'Brisk'. Report

1 Jul 1940

(a) That the Commandos etc. (at present known as "BRISK") remain in the areas to which they are about to be moved (i.e. OBAN and LARGS), where they can be kept entirely separate from Brigadier Morford's Brigade, thus enabling the present cover to be retained. (b) That the name "PARADOX" be retained for Brigadier Morford's Brigade until the force has embarked or is about to embark on the intended operation. For the reasons to which we have referred above we do not think that any special cover would be necessary for this Force for the time being.
