ANNEX "A". To: * * * War Office. From: Major J.G. Lockhart, Security Officer, N.A.A.F.I. Subject: Employment of Foreign Artistes by E.N.S.A. A point has arisen in connection with the engagement of artistes by E.N.S.A. Recently this Department has assumed the task of providing entertainments for foreign troops in this country, a purpose for which the ordinary British artiste is often unsuitable. Permission has therefore been asked to employ a limited number of actors and actresses of foreign citizenship.
