Intelligence Information to be Included in the Dominions Wire. Note by Secy. Covering Note of a Meeting at War Office on 19.8.40, Between D.M.I., The D.D.M.I. (0), And Dominions Military Liaison Officer

1 Jul 1940

It appeared that there might have been a certain amount of misunderstanding over the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee minute, and that the intention was not to deprive the "Dominions Wire" of the use of the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee Summary; and, in the course of discussion, it was pointed out that the circulation of the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee Summary to Government Departments is larger than that of the "Dominions Wire", and that it was illogical to withhold information which was available to the recipients of the Joint Intelligence sub-Committee Summary from the Dominion Prime Ministers.
