Operation 'Menace'. Security Measures For: Memo. By Inter-Services Security Board

1 Jul 1940

Issue of Kit. 4. There appears to be no objection to tropical kit being issued to the troops in barracks as the cover is of a tropical nature. Inoculation. 5. It is assumed that the troops will be inoculated against yellow fever. The inoculation should, preferably, be given on board ship. If this is not practicable, it should be given in barracks. In either event, the doctors should be instructed not to disclose the nature of the inoculation as this in itself would be sufficient to disclose the destination.
