A N N E X. The figures referred to in the Prime Minister's Minute are those contained in the following statement produced by the Admiralty:Estimate of German Merchant Shipping used in the first month of the Invasion of Norway. 1. The warships used initially, which also carried troops and stores to ports were HIPPER, BLUCHER, EMDEN, KOLN, KONIGSBERG, KARLSRUHE, 14 destroyers and probably some smaller craft. It is not believed that GNEISENAU, SCHARNHORST or LUTZOW acted other than as covering forces.
