British Propaganda in Time of War. Memo. By the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee

6. Accordingly we recommend:(a) that the Ministry of Information (with which we include Department E.H.) should be represented on the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee by a completely trustworthy representative who would be able to attend meetings when questions affecting propaganda were under discussion; (b) that in all cases when matters of military policy have been decided by the Chiefs of Staff, the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee should be directed to prepare, for the approval of the Chiefs of Staff, a draft directive relating propaganda policy to the above.
