Rumours of the possession of a new weapon of defence against German dive bombers, in the form of a light machine-gun with secret apparatus for giving heavy rate of fire and special sights giving great accuracy, have been disseminated by Electra House. Various other rumours intended to act as a deterrent to air operations against this country have also been circulated by Electra House, details of which are contained in the paper issued to members of the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee under heading Paper No.
