in various neutral countries, to make suggestions for improvement and to select persons who might usefully return to this country for a brief period of special training. One officer might be despatched for this purpose by air to South America and might travel by air round the various countries of Central and South America; another officer might be despatched to the Near East and would travel through Roumania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey, Iraq and Iran. In the light of the reports received from these officers whilst on their tours, the steps required to secure the efficient organisation of British communities abroad will be further considered.
