Bomber reconnaissance 12 Yes Army co-operation 12 No Coastal aircraft 100 Yes Total 343 In addition there are a limited number of troopcarrying aircraft of adequate range, which are only sufficient for local needs. These air forces could be reinforced or replaced at very short notice. 3. There has been no substantial change in these forces during the last fortnight. 4. We consider that the forces at present in Norway are sufficient to operate for the purpose of:(a) Undertaking an isolated and limited operation against an outlying portion of the British Isles.
