ENCLOSURE. SUMMARY OF REPLIES TO THE DIRECTOR OF MILITARY INTELLIGENCE'S LETTER NO. M.I.(J.I.C.)/204, DATED 31ST JANUARY, 1940. D.M.I. oposed that:REPLIES RECEIVED FROM F.O. D.N.I. D. of I. Air Ministry. S.I.S. All activities to Agrees Disagrees Is now Agrees be co-ordinated (See Note working with by Lord Balfour. A.) Lord Balfour Foreign Office and Agrees Disagrees Agrees Agrees Service except Intelligence for small Directorates matters make their own (See Note arrangements A.) for preparation of scenario which would then go to Lord Balfour to be vetted for practicability.
