4. With regard to military intelligence in the Balkans required by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Middle East for preparing operational planning, the War Office proposals have * been conveyed to the Military Attaché in a telegram, a copy of which, together with that of the Military Attaché's reply, is attached. 5. Withregard to propaganda and censorship and defence security, it is agreed that the duties of the Middle East Intelligence Centre should not be expanded to take them on and that the existing organisation which proviaes for consultation by His Majesty's representatives with the service commanders should continue.
